The Princeton Chapter of SCORE (Counselors to America's Small Business) is part of a national nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of the nation's small business. SCORE volunteers serve as "Counselors to America's Small Business."

SCORE provides free and confidential business counseling tailored to meet the needs of your small business and your personal objectives. SCORE also offers workshops, for a modest fee, for both start-up entrepreneurs and in-business small business owners.

SCORE volunteers are real-world professionals with time-tested knowledge who donate thousands of hours to help small businesses succeed. Our counselors are experts in such areas as accounting, finance, marketing, management and business plan preparation. All of our counseling sessions are free of charge and strictly confidential.

Princeton SCORE Chapter provides four types of counseling:

• One on One at our various locations: For both start-ups and established businesses More than 25 counselors with a wide range of experience meet with you at our headquarters and other convenient. Sessions generally last from one to two hours and may be with one or more counselors. Follow-up meetings will be scheduled, and are encouraged.

• On-Site: For established businesses After an initial appointment at our office to determine your goals and objectives, SCORE advisors can conduct counseling sessions at your facility, instead of our headquarters, if it seems more appropriate.

• Advisory Board: For businesses that require long-term strategic, operational or turn-around counseling One or two SCORE counselors will serve as your principal advisors. If you need specialized assistance, other counselors will be brought in to work with you. Meetings can be regularly scheduled or arranged on an as-needed basis.

• E-Mail: Face to face counseling is always preferred, but when that is not possible You can choose a counselor anywhere in the U.S. by visiting www.score.org or you can request a counselor via our "Contact Us" page.

Counseling sessions take place convenient times. Should you need other times, appointments can be made. Appointments are required. To set a date for counseling, please call us at 609-393-0505.

Some clients receive all the help they need in one visit; others consult with us on an ongoing basis. In either case, there is never a charge for our services.
